Mary’s Story​

Mary Fashik (she/her) is a transnational, transracial adoptee, born in Lebanon. She is the founder of the Disabity Justice movement, Upgrade Accessibility

She is also a Susan M. Daniels Disability Mentoring Hall of Fame Inductee and award-winning podcaster. Mary’s activism is centered around the Disability Justice principle, intersectionality. She strives to use her platform to uplift the voices of the most-marginalized in the disabled and chronically ill community.
